🧰 Materials You’ll Need

  • Soft gel tips

  • Base gel (rubber base or soft gel base)

  • Acid-free primer + dehydrator (nail prep)

  • UV/LED lamp

  • 180/240 grit nail file and buffer

  • Cuticle pusher

  • Isopropyl alcohol or cleanser

  • Gel polish (optional)

  • Top coat

  • Cuticle oil

✨ Step 1: Natural Nail Prep

  • Wash your hands and disinfect nails with alcohol.

  • Push back your cuticles gently.

  • Lightly buff the shine off your natural nails.

  • Apply dehydrator (nail prep).

  • Apply acid-free primer and let it air dry.

✨ Step 2: Tip Selection and Preparation

  • Choose tips that fit side-to-side without pressure.

  • Lightly file the inner side of the tip (contact area).

  • Apply base gel to the inside of the tip.

✨ Step 3: Tip Application

  • Apply base gel to your natural nail (do not cure yet).

  • Place the tip at a 45° angle starting from the cuticle and press down gently.

  • While holding it in place, cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

✨ Step 4: Shaping and Smoothing

  • File the surface of the tip if needed.

  • Adjust the length or shape as desired.

  • Buff the surface to smooth out imperfections.

✨ Step 5: Decoration and Sealing

  • Apply gel polish if desired, curing between coats.

  • Finish with a glossy or matte top coat and cure again.

  • Clean the sticky layer with a cleanser.
